New Years 2010

After weeks of pressure, I finally gave in and gave Mike a 2 day vacation in Vegas as his Christmas present. We met up with several of his old "posse" members (from his college days) who came from all over the West. It turned out to be a very adventurous trip...one I don't think I'll need for another 5 years or so.
I love the heavenly glow of Mike's Gucci sneakers...ha

Christmas with Family

We spent time with family this year, and after visiting Mike's family we enjoyed my Mom's Danish Christmas eve filled with a wonderful dinner, rice pudding, some gifts, and dancing around the Christmas tree in our matching pajamas.

Christmas in Utah

Fortunately we made it to Utah after 2 days of flight cancellations out of New York. The kids did great on the flight thanks to Mike insisting we buy a DVD player and bribing treats. Cy was so excited to see his cousins and Uncle (who he calls Guy), and was a real show off the first day. On his 2nd birthday he discovered snow for the first time and was fascinated that he could eat it (though I probably shouldn't let him). After enjoying some time in the hot tub, we topped off the day with a stroll around the mall...I'm planning to keep his birthday low key till he cares.

As expected...Madi is the tall one!

Merry Christmas 2009

This month was a busy one...church parties, activities, family and friends visiting, doctors, callings, singing, shopping, ballet performances, and decorating. It was definitely a great way to pass the time in the most depressing season of the year. We may need to plan on some vacations to get through January and February. In the meantime MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

No Words

No captions can describe this face. I don't know what it is, but it certainly gives me a chuckle. I love my Cy.

Sing To Him A Song Of Love

This is one of those posts where you hope the people who were intended to view our blog are the only one's seeing it. What makes this special, is this song was one my mother used to perform with her trio back when I was a baby. Fun to keep the memory alive (though I wouldn't mind trading my voice for my mother's)...hope you enjoy it Mom!
