Easter weekend 2012

This Easter we went to our neighbors Easter party at their barn and boy was it something.  Complete with their animals, 15 acres of lush land, colorful and fun food, and great company with our neighbors and ward members it was truly a day to remember.
Cy and his new best friend, Elle..they are the funniest little couple and act as though they are already married.  A few weeks ago in church Elle passionately said to Cy as she held his tie in her hands "Cy, your tie is so handsome to get married" to which he replied "your dress is gorgeous".  Elle then put her arm around Cy and gave me a little glare as she whispered "don't tell your mom, let's get married".  He loves to take care of others and I see this turning into a beautiful friendship, maybe slightly scary. ha
Thrilled to finally see the peacock we hear almost daily as we take our walks showing his feathers
He was so adorable and gentle with the baby bunnies

Madison is just glowing here, what a beauty
Uncle Thomas and cousin Isak visited this week from Denmark.  We had a great Easter party complete with ducks in the back yard, great food, and decorating eggs.

Spring Time

Madison had her Spring Break this year and it was the first time we decided to stay put.  She did a little spring skiing with our cousin Isak who is visiting from Denmark, made sushi with friends, watched movies, and we even stayed the night at a hotel downtown SLC to get away and swim a bit.  Other than a little snow, it's been a gorgeous spring break week here.

I love his eyes here...and the stylin' mullet which I'm pretty sure we'll grow out (if Mike allows it)
The 1 time we saw the big girls...they were too busy being independent to hang with us
