The past couple weeks have been a whirlwind; my world sort of stopped with Madison being in Kansas (I miss my girl), I was called into the Young Women's Presidency, Cy started an intense swim lesson program, I took a scuba class with one of my best friends, Mike's in the Dominican Republic (hopefully no arrests this time), my brother and his family moved to Utah after living in the Bay area for 10 years, in one weekend we celebrated my birthday, attended a neighborhood BBQ, and hosted a garden party for 60 Dane's (and cleaned and managed all the yard work and set up). Now we are gearing up for a night at the Rodeo! Here are some highlights we captured on camera.
You can barely see Cy here who is traumatized that he has to come back home. He loves his little friend Elle and all the golf carts riding around our neighborhood.
In one week we spotted a red tail fox, a snake, our friends the squirrels and eagles, a raccoon AND a deer at our house.
Our back yard all manicured and lovely for the party
Smørrebrød for the Rebild guests
These were the cutest little Danish Grandmas and Grandpas that my mother has known and loved for years.
My birthday: the bonus this year...Mike actually wrote and sang me a song!
This is probably the most hilarious movie ever...I think Cy learned his moves from his dancing drill team sister. I have to find someone to blame this on.
